Lasting change begins at the grassroots
We work in culturally and geographically isolated villages across eastern India — communities where children face the greatest barriers and where consistent, long-term presence makes all the difference.
Our approach has always been holistic. A child cannot learn if their family is in crisis. A girl cannot stay in school if her community doesn’t believe in her. A family cannot imagine a different future if everyone they know has lived the same one. Over 14 years, we built the trust, the networks, and the local systems that make education possible.
Our strategic focus for 2026–2031: foundational literacy and numeracy — reaching every child who is out of school or in school but not learning.

Core Education

Foundational Literacy
Getting every child reading, writing, and reasoning.
We find children who are out of school or enrolled but not learning. We bring them into community learning centres, teach them through play, and give them foundational skills that make all future learning possible — in six months.
Youth Development & Pathways

From school all the way through to independent adulthood.
For adolescents who need a pathway forward — school re-enrollment, career counselling, health interventions, and child protection, supported by the full community ecosystem around them.
Aligned with NIPUN Bharat
Our foundational literacy curriculum is aligned with the Government of India's National Initiative for Proficiency in Reading with Understanding and Numeracy — ensuring every child we reach meets the national learning benchmark.

We work toward communities that drive their own change — where over 80% of our direct participants are women from Tribal, Dalit, and OBC communities.
